Easter egg

To create a bonus for more dedicated viewers I added an easter egg in the form of a pop up which gives the viewer the opportunity to win the puppet made in the 30 seconds audiovisual tutorial video

Logo feature

 To create brand identity with my website I needed to feature my home made logo somewhere in the video. Therefore I put it in the title sequence just after the BBC 3 ident. I made it slightly transparent so it could fade on and off and not look out of place or forced. Im very happy with how it looks on screen. 

Introduction Editing in Progress

 

Intro 2.0

 For my first attempt at an introduction, I mistakenly used footage attained from YouTube of snippets of the muppet show. However after a careful look at the brief, I noticed this was not allowed. I replaced this with a montage of shots if me setting up my Punch and Judy Booth using a wide range of shots and camera angles to fulfil that aspect of the brief. 

Parents interview

 To fulfil the "2 social group" aspect of the brief, I did an interview with my parents (I am the first social group) to give an account of what its life to raise a child with a passion for puppetry. I wanted the interview to be very raw and unscripted so it just felt like a natural conversation. Therefore, I didn't give them a script so the answers were very real and genuine . 

Voice over script

 For the intro to my documentary there is a montage of shots of myself setting up a Punch and Judy Booth.  After watching this over it felt as though it needed developing so I will add a voice over to make it more engaging for the audience. 

SCRIPT

"The thing I love about the puppets is how with such a simple medium I can connect with so many people. I never realised how far this interest in puppetry would take me but I could not be happier with the how far I've come.
